There is something totally tranquil about a pond decorated by water lillies... almost spiritual in nature. Maybe that is why the great impressionist artist, Claude Monet, found them an inspiration for many of his paintings. This painting, "Water Lilly", captures that mood in the same impressionistic manner made famous by Monet.
