The Four Brush-ka-teers (minus Dean) had a blast last night painting each other! I painted Stephen who was painting Mitchell while Mitchell painted me... say that five times real fast! We spent about two hours painting and drawing from life... hope you enjoy the artwork.

The Four Brush-ka-teers minus Two strike again last night!

Dean and Mitchell couldn't make our bi-monthly paint out this week... Stephen and I were forced to carry the banner (or I should say "brush") in their stead. Stephen was in charge of the still life this week which proved to be a great exercise in painting brass.

The Four Brush-ka-teers!

Every other Monday night... I paint with three close artist friends... we call ourselves the "Four Brush-ka-teers".

LtoR: Dean Remington, Mitchell Morton, Stephen Greer, and Bernie Rosage Jr.

We take turns bringing a still life to paint from life. The camaraderie is awesome and I strongly suggest that other artists out there find a small group and do this. All of our work is benefiting from the the conversations, critiques, etc from painting together. The Brush-ka-teers have been painting bi-monthly for almost two years now. These guys and what I've learned from them are PRICELESS!

The Four Brush-ka-teers minus Dean... Every other Monday evening the Four Brush-ka-teers (Bernie, Stephen, Mitchell, and Dean) paint a still life from life. This week Mitchell was in charge of bringing the still life and Olivia (my daughter) took charge in helping arrange everything just right.

She and Stephen took care of a few left over stawberries before we began.

Our subject for the evening... thanks to Mitchell and Olivia.
