I try to evoke feelings of peace and serenity in many of my paintings... the world is often to hectic for me as I suspect it is for you at times too. It is my hope that this painting helps you escape the turmoil of life and relax. I based this painting on a quote by Washington Irving... "There is a serene and settled majesty to woodland scenery that enters into the soul and delights and elevates it, and fills it with noble inclinations.".
