I painted this lone pear as a demo for Mrs Nickel's 7th and 8th grade art classes at New Bridge Middle School. I like to give demo's to school groups like this to help generate a desire for the arts in young people. I am a dedicated art advocate as well as artist. The art students were very receptive and inspiring.
Everyday objects painted from life is the essence of the "Painting a Day" art movement that is gaining momentum in the art collecting market.
